The England Netball Supporters Club was established in 2011 following the Singapore Netball World Cup, when a few travelling supporters were scattered around the area, and had very little impact when ‘our team’ was playing. It was very obvious that we need to get ourselves organised and a small group of volunteers got together and set the ball rolling!
There is no charge for membership and you can sign up via the England Netball website or by contacting me on firstname.lastname@example.org with your name and email address.
Communication is by regular Newsletters and emails. There is no set time for distribution – it just depends what is happening on the International Calendar. For overseas competitions, such as Netball World Cup and Commonwealth Games we work with travel agents to secure tickets and accommodation and all this information is circulated to our members.
However, and perhaps most important of all, for major international competition we organise a Supporters Club “Meet the Team” party when you are able to meet, chat and take photos of our England Roses!
