Maddy Dwan from Ipswich retires from the England squad at the age of 30 with 69 full England caps and 10 Under 21 caps – which made her eligible for the Guinness Book of Records.

Maddy represented England  at School level, then progressed to the England U21 squad and in 1973 made the England squad.

She started her netball career at the age of 10 playing GS for St Annes College Junior School.  She played for Croydon & Purley Netball Club in the illustrious company of England players Mary French and Annette Cairncross.
