1967 The Greater London Team

 

In 1967, this team was selected from various county players (mostly from the Kent, Surrey and Essex) who then toured Jamaica.
The coach/manager was Mary Preston (Surrey) and the umpire was Winnie Watling (Middlesex).

The players paid their own fares (£180) and stayed with families on the island and had a very successful tour.
On their return, several players were selected for the full England national team.
